Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager oversees medium to large project orders from award through final delivery. The role combines customer service, schedule and budget management, vendor coordination, and technical understanding of electrical distribution equipment. This role is hybrid-eligible.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical material orders, track progress, coordinate deliveries, and ensure contractual requirements are met.
- Prepare, review, and submit project documentation such as submittals, drawings, schedules, and closeout packages.
- Work with manufacturers and vendors to confirm technical details and lead times.
- Communicate proactively with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify issues early, develop solutions, and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of timelines, cost impacts, and change orders.
- Support documentation quality and mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in the electrical industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment (switchgear, panelboards, breakers, metering, controls).
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and project specifications.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-tracking tools.
