Interpreter
Position Summary
Interpreters provide language Interpretation for Access Community Health Centers (ACHC) patients, families, and staff. In addition, Interpreters work on written translations as needed.
Schedule: PRN (as needed) during hours of operation. (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm)
Desired candidate would have the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must have Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) certification
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to perform under pressure
- Fluent in Spanish
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience using medical terminology
- Previous experience serving as an interpreter in a clinic or hospital setting
