At ACG, we are growing quickly and looking for a detail-oriented and driven Junior Telecom Estimator who wants to build a long-term career in construction and telecommunications.

What You Will Do Estimating Support
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals
- Perform digital takeoffs using tools like Bluebeam, Procore, or AutoCAD
- Collect and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Identify scope gaps and support pre-bid planning
- Participate in site visits to collect project data
Documentation & Systems
- Organize plans, specs, addenda, and bid documents
- Maintain bid logs, estimate trackers, and project documentation
- Prepare BOQs/BOMs and estimating packages
- Build organized Excel trackers and summaries
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide daily/weekly updates on assigned estimates
- Track deadlines, quote coverage, and estimating KPIs
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors
Training & Growth
- Learn to read telecom and low-voltage drawings
- Build knowledge in fiber, cabling, and security systems
- Gain experience with Bluebeam, Procore, Buildertrend, and Sage
- Progress toward running estimates independently
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, estimating, coordination, or admin roles (or strong interest in the field)
- Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office
- High attention to detail and strong organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and willingness to learn
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend, or Sage
- Basic knowledge of electrical or low-voltage systems

- Hybrid role (office collaboration occasional field visits)

- Must be comfortable receiving and applying feedback
- Onsite collaboration required in El Paso, TX
