Note: The above information relates to a specific client requirement You will have a Solution Architecture background, will have performed a client-facing role, have led a small team, and will be willing to contribute to the implementation of our internal Digital Transformation strategy. As a practicing consultant you will: o Define the architecture for high-profile, highly visible, government digital or private sector services o Operate as a trusted advisor to Director and/or programme level clients. o Define the IT strategy, architecture and roadmap for large programmes of work aligned to organisational and business objectives o Manage the non-functional requirements through the delivery and operational lifecycle of the system o Provide authoritative specialist technology advice o Provide technological risk and mitigation advice and help manage these risks o Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders Additionally, as a Senior Solution Architect you will be accountable for leading initiatives to help the development of the Architecture profession within Secure Transformation Services (STS) and contribute to the growth of the wider CTO Advisory practice by supporting development of career paths that enable the long-term development of our staff to achieve high levels of employee feedback and retention. You will work in line with client demand and company values and behaviours, with some of the following key responsibilities: o Own and deliver the development of case studies, presentations and events in support of marketing activities to raise the profile of STS. o Own and deliver high-quality outputs for proposals and projects to ensure that client expectations are met and that high levels of client satisfaction are achieved o Provide appropriate pre-sales and bid support in line with the company’s bid management process to meet the company’s overall growth and sales targets o Maintain client relationships to ensure quality in delivery and identify future work opportunities o Monitor emerging trends and own the production of thought leadership assets o Contribute, if required, to the CTO Advisory practice strategy in line with the STS and corporate strategies. o Support the CTO Advisory leadership in the acquisition of new talent in line with demand in timely manner. o Engender Accenture company values, contributing to the development of STS as a great place to work o Collaborate with peers and staff within a matrixed organisation The following skills and experience are essential for this role: o Knowledge and experience of applying architectural governance, technical standards and frameworks o Experience with applying architectural concepts, methodologies and approaches o Hands-on technical background, preferably from systems engineering with experience of application and integration architecture. o Knowledge of solution architecture principles, design patterns, and Architecture modelling tools. o Knowledge of market leading technologies and solutions o Familiarity with major Cloud technologies, working experience of at least one major Cloud provider – such as Azure or AWS To do this you must be able to: o Demonstrate a good understanding of the complete SDLC o Deliver both exceptional technical solutions and work as true partners to the organisations we support. o Demonstrate a good understanding of managing technical risks o Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, demonstrated through: o Effectively explaining complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience o Writing meaningfully to deliver clear information, and guidance o Giving impactful presentations, articulating clearly key points o Demonstrate critical thinking by: o Analysing and evaluating information o Using information gathered to present solutions and reach decisions What’s in it for you At Accenture in addition to a competitive basic salary, you will also have an extensive benefits package which includes up to 30 days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work of your choice!
