- You’ll identify and research potential real estate acquisition opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry resources.
- You’ll conduct financial analyses and property evaluations to determine feasibility and alignment with organizational goals.
- You’ll initiate and manage negotiations with property owners, brokers, and other stakeholders to secure favorable terms.
- You’ll coordinate and oversee the full due‑diligence process, including inspections, title reviews, and environmental assessments.
- You’ll prepare and present acquisition proposals, financial models, and strategic recommendations to management.
- You’ll work closely with legal counsel to ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
- You’ll maintain accurate records of acquisition activities and stay current on market trends and regulatory changes.
- You’ll collaborate with development, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of acquired properties.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
- With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10 years of experience in property acquisition, real estate transactions, or a similar role
- Must be a self-starter that is reliable, responsive to client needs, professional, and have the ability to maintain long-term relationships with clients and other construction related and business professionals and handle confidential information with discretion and trustworthiness
- Strong knowledge of real estate markets, property valuation, and acquisition processes
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with real estate databases a plus
- Learning oriented, creative and possess advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to transfer prior experience to new projects
