Accentuate Staffing is assisting a biotech company in the Durham area who is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a contract opportunity, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and prepare parts for experiments
- Wrap and stage materials for autoclaving and sterilization
- Set up lab stations prior to experiments
- Perform post‑run take down activities, including disassembly and material handling
- Take photos and record basic notes for documentation
- Prepare routine lab solutions as scheduled
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and lab cleanliness standards
- Support lab technicians
Requirement:
- Experience working in a laboratory or cleanroom environment or bioworks certificate
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands‑on tasks consistently
- Comfort following established procedures and instructions
- Basic documentation skills
- HS Diploma; Bioworks Certificate a plus
