Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Cost Accountant to join our core Supply Chain Accounting group. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, analyzing cost control processes, and supporting period-end close and audit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by preparing and reviewing journal entries related to accruals, deferrals, reclasses, and recurring entries.
- Record and reconcile advances to suppliers, prepaids, payroll expense, and other monthly accruals.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support period-end reporting and audit requirements.
- Create key reports for management to drive timely business decisions.
- Compile inventory reports from multiple sources and identify variances.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role.
- Hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including use of SAP T-Codes for cost analysis, inventory reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with US GAAP and internal controls/SOX Compliance.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, hands-on ERP expertise, and a deep understanding of cost control processes. They will also possess advanced Excel proficiency, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
