What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at accentfamilyofcompanies?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate Box Wire machines (re-coilers) in a manner consistent with production standards and the quality expectations of our customers.
This includes:

Use machine control panel to set proper length, weight, gauge and feed speed.
Transfer completed coils from hubs to belt.
Visual inspection of coils, remove any quality defects.
Using tie wire, secure the coil in four places.
Use butt-welder and grinder to maintain continuous feed.
Occasionally disengage equipment to remove tangles.

Requirements:

Entry-level position.
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, etc)

Physical Requirements:

Walk and stand continuously.
Manipulate, grip, grasp and handle coiled wire weighing 50 or 100lbs
Lift up to 50 lbs constantly throughout shift.
Lift up to 80 lbs occasionally.
Bend, stoop and reach constantly throughout shift.
Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
