Job Overview
We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings, including commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction site operations and possess the technical skills necessary to read blueprints and schematics effectively. On the job training will be provided to read blueprints and the duties of the position.
Responsibilities
- Fire Sprinkler Apprentice training.
- AFSA fire sprinkler apprenticeship training course and certification program offered, paid by the company.
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to established codes and regulations.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for pipe threading and tube bending as required for installations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices while working on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Willing to learn with on-the-job training.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in pipe threading, tube bending, and general installation tasks.
