Key Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory accuracy and maintain real-time stock visibility through advanced inventory control systems.
- Develop, enforce, and audit inventory control policies, including cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation processes.
- Analyze inventory turnover, lead times, and demand forecasts to balance availability with cost efficiency, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels to optimize stock efficiency and reduce excess inventory.
- Use advanced data analytics to evaluate inventory trends, stock movement, and usage patterns.
- Maintain and update ERP systems to ensure alignment between inventory data and production schedules.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement ERP enhancements and address system-related issues.
- Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management efficiency and accuracy.
- Standardize workflows to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices across all inventory activities.
- Provide training to staff on inventory management systems and processes to foster accuracy and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and inventory management best practices.
- Work with finance to align inventory control with budgeting, cost-saving initiatives, and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, sales, and logistics teams to synchronize inventory strategies with broader supply chain objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management principles, supply chain processes, and demand forecasting.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel and Power BI, with an analytical mindset to interpret and act on data.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on implementing effective solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Adaptable, results-oriented, and proactive in addressing challenges in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
