Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Associate to join our manufacturing team. The QA Associate will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment who are passionate about product quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Document and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Maintain accurate and complete QA records, logs, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor and verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
- Assist in internal audits and support external audits and inspections as needed.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality control systems.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry standards and regulatory changes.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED: This is generally the minimum educational requirement for an hourly quality associate.
- Certifications: Optional certifications from organizations like the American Society for Quality (ASQ) (ASQ) or training in methods like Six Sigma can make you a more attractive candidate.
Experience: 1–3 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical, food, medical device, or general manufacturing preferred).
- Working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, FDA, or equivalent).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with quality management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
