Accelerated PM is searching for a skilled and motivated Scheduler to join our team in the petrochemical sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting budget preparation and carrying out scheduling duties. This position requires experience in the energy sector, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
Location/Travel:
- This is an on-site position, with travel expenses negotiable.
Duties and Responsibilities Could Include:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and performance baselines.
- Identify schedule trends, perform variance analyses, and escalate issues for management action to enable proactive decision-making.
- Provide technical direction, mentoring, and supervision for planning and scheduling activities.
- Support organizational, reporting, and administrative project functions to foster efficient execution.
- Apply professional concepts and creative problem-solving to resolve complex project and technical issues.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of scheduling methods, procedures, and system enhancements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables.
Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in scheduling in the energy or gas utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of petrochemical project components, including pipelines, stations, and infrastructure.
- Experience working with P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong MS Excel skills other MS Office products (Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).

Job Type:
- Rate: $85-$110/hr. (salary is commensurate with experience)
