Driver Responsibilities:
- Drive company equipment to deliver commercial freight to job sites.
- Strap and unstrap cargo.
- Record deliveries via provided Bill of Lading
- Refuel vehicles.
- Report road incidents to your dispatcher.
- Follow traffic laws.
- Inspect trucks and record issues.
- Follow accident procedures.
- Keep an electronic log to log hours.
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- Plan routes using GPS system.
- Get goods & materials to clients on time.
- Maintain a positive attitude with employees & customers.
- Keep commercial driver license up to date.

Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
