Accelerated Equipment Service is an independent forklift service company specializing in forklift repair, preventative maintenance, hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, battery service, and material handling equipment. We take pride in providing fast, honest, and dependable service to our customers.
We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated Forklift Service Technician with 5 or more years experience to join our growing team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair propane, gasoline, diesel, and electric forklifts.
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled inspections.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, steering, brake, and drive systems.
- Replace and repair motors, pumps, cylinders, hoses, chains, bearings, and other components.
- Perform battery maintenance and charger diagnostics on electric forklifts.
- Complete service reports and document repairs accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and work area.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment repairs and recommendations.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift or heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals.
- Basic computer or smartphone skills for completing work orders.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in warehouse and outdoor environments.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
