We are in need of Dental Assisting Instructors at our Wake Forest, NC location hosted at Triangle Family Dentistry-Wake Forest. This includes clinical teaching on Saturdays during 10 week courses.

The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below:
- Complete the Instructor Training Course.
- Complete the Instructor Refresher and Accountability Quiz prior to each semester.
- Confirm instructor schedule prior to the start of the upcoming semester.
- Prepare to facilitate class by reviewing and understanding the clinic stations.
- Prepare the dental office for class by setting up clinic stations.
- Facilitate clinic sessions by executing class checklists and completing each task in its entirety.
- Gather student documents to be sent to Accelerated Academy Administration.
- Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system.
- Manage all classroom situations.
- Weekly communication with Accelerated Academy Administration.
- Assist in on-boarding new instructors through shadowing sessions.
Position Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively with students
· Positive, fun, and caring attitude
· HS Diploma, Dental Assistant Certificate, Chapel Hill Certification (if applicable) & at least 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant
· CPR certified
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $31.25 per hour
