We are in need of a Dental Assisting Instructor at our Columbia, MO location hosted at Mid-Missouri Dental Clinic. This includes classroom and clinical teaching on Saturdays for 10 weeks.

The responsibilities you would be held accountable for are listed below:
- Complete the Instructor Training Course.
- Complete the Instructor Refresher and Accountability Quiz prior to each semester.
- Prepare the dental office for class.
- Prepare by reviewing the class lecture and understanding the clinic stations.
- Review the class checklists and complete each task in its entirety.
- Lead lecture.
- Lead clinic stations.
- Assist in new instructors/liaisons on-boarding process.
- Gather student documents to be sent to Administration.
- Weekly communication with Administration.
- Manage all classroom situations.
- Record grades, attendance and evaluations in the learning management system.
- Log compensation into the payroll system at the end of each class day.
- Sign up to teach specific class days on the instructor schedule prior to the start of the upcoming semester.
Position Qualifications:·
Ability to communicate effectively with students
· Positive, fun, and caring attitude
· HS Diploma or College Diploma, Dental Assistant Certificate, & 2 years of clinical experience as a dental assistant required
· CPR certificate (optional)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $125.00 - $250.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Boonville, MO 65233: Relocate before starting work (Required)
