Human Resources Manager-Bilingual
We are seeking a hands-on, bilingual HR professional to join a 50-employee manufacturing company as a Bilingual Human Resources Manager. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys being involved in all areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, safety, and training. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish and bring prior HR experience within a manufacturing environment. This is a fully onsite, direct hire position in New Berlin, WI.
Position Overview
The Bilingual HR Manager will plan, develop, and coordinate human resource activities to maximize organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. This role will support both hourly and salaried employees while ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations. This is a highly visible, independent contributor role with no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll and maintain payroll-related records and reporting
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new hire training
- Develop and conduct employee training programs, including OSHA and safety compliance training
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data integrity
- Partner with leadership and production supervisors to support employee relations and policy compliance
- Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and open enrollment
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, accident investigations, and safety reporting
- Assist with performance management and salary administration programs
- Create and maintain job descriptions, policies, procedures, and employee handbook materials
- Support audits, regulatory compliance activities, and reporting requirements
- Promote a safe and positive workplace culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of broad human resources experience in the manufacturing industry
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Experience processing payroll
- Experience with safety training and compliance strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
