What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical and electrical engineers
- Drive new product development projects from concept through commercialization
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and accountability measures
- Improve engineering processes, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership to align priorities
- Serve as a technical resource and coach for the engineering team
- Identify opportunities to improve product development speed and effectiveness
- Manage engineering resources, priorities, and workload planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and teamwork
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Proven engineering leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Track record of successfully leading new product development initiatives
- Experience managing engineers and developing high-performing teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to implement structure and process within growing or evolving organizations
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Background in industrial equipment, engineered products, manufacturing, or related industries
- Experience improving engineering workflows, product development processes, and team performance
