Facility Operations Technician Full-Time Position
SC Motorplex is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Facility Operations Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for helping maintain and improve our facility while supporting race day operations throughout the season.
If you enjoy working outdoors, operating equipment, taking pride in your work, and being part of a fast-paced motorsports environment, we'd love to hear from you. Every day is different, and you'll play an important role in ensuring our facility is clean, safe, and race-ready for our competitors and guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain the appearance of the facility through mowing, weed eating, trimming, and general groundskeeping
- Power wash buildings, grandstands, fences, sidewalks, and track facilities
- Operate tractors, mowers, skid steers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects
- Assist with setting up and tearing down race events
- Support race day operations, including the water box, track preparation, staging assistance, and other operational duties
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Help keep the facility clean, organized, and safe for racers, spectators, and staff
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating tractors, mowers, or similar equipment
- General maintenance or mechanical experience is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical outdoor work
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team

Schedule
This is a full-time position with a flexible work schedule. Weekend and evening availability is required during race events throughout the season.
