What You'll Do
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play an important role in helping patients maintain healthy smiles while creating a comfortable, positive experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing preventive dental hygiene and periodontal care.
- Cleaning teeth and assessing patients for signs of oral disease.
- Performing periodontal assessments and maintaining accurate clinical charting.
- Completing recare appointments and helping patients stay on track with preventive care.
- Taking digital dental X-rays as needed.
- Educating patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, and home-care recommendations.
- Communicating clinical findings and patient needs with the doctor and dental team.
- Supporting comprehensive hygiene services, including applicable adjunctive therapies offered by the practice.
- Building trusting relationships with patients through compassionate, personalized care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and following applicable clinical standards.
