Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk check-in / check-out process
- Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, coordinate with hygienists and doctors
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, assist in person and via email
- Manage patient records, verify insurance coverage, process necessary forms
- Handle billing support, payments, and co-pay collection when needed
- Maintain the front office environment: clean, inviting, organized
- Support patient experience by providing information, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth flow through the visit
- Collaborate with the team to optimize scheduling, follow-up, and communication
- Monday- Friday: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Sat/Sun: CLOSED
- Friendly, professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn the dental field, patient-care environment, and practice systems
- Adaptable and flexible – able to support both routine and unexpected situations
- Strong phone skills and ability to make patients feel welcomed and respected
- Prior experience in a front-desk, customer service, or medical/dental office setting is a plus (but not required)
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and possibly billing/insurance systems
- Commitment to reliability, collegial team work, and helping create a positive patient experience
