Behavior Paraprofessional / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Accelerate Academic Advancement LLC- Plymouth County, Massachusetts In-Home & Community-Based Behavioral Support Services

Are you passionate about helping children with Autism, ADHD, and learning differences grow and thrive? Accelerate Academic Advancement LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable individuals to join our team as Behavior Paraprofessionals / RBTs. In this role, you’ll provide one-on-one support to children in their homes and communities using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Position Details:

  • Location: Plymouth & Barnstable Counties, MA (in-home and community-based settings)
  • Type: Part-Time
  • Schedule: Flexible hours; weekday afternoons and/or weekend availability preferred
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience and credentials; paid training available

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA-based instruction and behavioral support to children
  • Implement individualized behavior plans developed by a BCBA
  • Collect data and maintain accurate session documentation
  • Support development of communication, social, academic, and life skills
  • Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members professionally and respectfully

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children
  • College coursework or degree in psychology, education, or related field is encouraged but not required
  • RBT certification is preferred but not required. Certification support available
  • A valid U.S. Driver’s License, reliable transportation to client homes, and flexibility to travel within the service area
  • Clear background checks (CORI, fingerprinting, etc.)
  • A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as part of a supportive team

Physical Requirements:

  • Perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, sitting on floor level or in a chair, or standing for periods of time.
  • Periods of walking, standing and movement throughout the day- this is not a seated or stationary position
  • Assisting clients as necessary, including but not limited to: grooming/ hygiene routines, eating routines and responding to behavioral incidents
  • Occasional physical exertion including: stooping, kneeling, crouching, and some lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Sit or kneel on the ground with clients including the ability to quickly rise to a standing position if needed
