About the Role
As a Water Treatment Field Technician, you will serve as a vital onsite expert responsible for the operational integrity and performance optimization of complex water treatment systems. You will play a key role in ensuring that industrial facilities maintain high-quality water standards through proactive maintenance, precise analytical testing, and expert troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical components.
Responsibilities- Optimize equipment performance for systems including reverse osmosis, ion exchange, and media filtration to meet strict contract specifications.
- Execute comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on process pumps, blowers, valves, and instrumentation.
- Perform critical analytical testing, including pH, turbidity, chlorine, and TOC, to ensure environmental and operational compliance.
- Manage onsite inventory, including chemical supplies and essential spare parts, to prevent operational downtime.
- Document all maintenance activities and technical findings within our digital work order management system.
- Consult with client management teams to provide actionable insights and detailed summaries of system health.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, refineries, or chemical processing environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50lbs.
- Possession of a T2 Drinking Water Certificate.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications for reporting and data entry.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a STEM field or technical certification in instrumentation.
- Active TWIC card for secure site access.
- Documented training or experience in forklift operation.
