About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Inventory Specialist to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring materials are readily available for production, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment. Your expertise in inventory management and material handling will directly impact our operational success.
Responsibilities- Accurately receive and meticulously inspect all incoming materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and documenting any discrepancies.
- Strategically organize and maintain inventory within designated storage areas, optimizing space utilization and accessibility.
- Proactively prepare materials for production by precisely picking, securely packing, and carefully staging them according to production schedules.
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials throughout the facility, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile stock levels and identify any discrepancies, ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a seamless material flow, supporting production schedules and minimizing delays.
- Uphold a consistently clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
