NOW HIRING: Director of Rehabilitation
Essential Functions:
- Lead, orient, and mentor therapy staff across all disciplines
- Play a key role in building and developing a top-tier rehab department
- Utilize clinical judgment to ensure appropriate and goal-driven therapy delivery
- Plan staffing schedules based on patient needs and coordinate daily treatment activities
- Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and understanding of multidisciplinary rehab
- Oversee accuracy and timeliness of departmental documentation; conduct audits as needed
- Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports
- Promote a professional, positive image within the facility
- Ensure punctual attendance and maximize scheduling efficiency
- Establish and enhance clinical programs as indicated
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and staff development
- Build and maintain a reliable PRN pool; manage PRN coverage as needed
- Collaborate with facility leadership and attend relevant meetings
- Foster strong working relationships with staff, residents, and families
What We’re Looking For:
- Active licensure in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in a rehab leadership role within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong clinical and organizational skills
- Ability to lead by example and inspire team excellence
