Part Time Van Driver

Accela Springfield is looking for a dependable and resident-focused Part-Time Van Driver to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, takes safety seriously, and brings a warm, positive attitude to every ride.

We are looking for someone who can work 3 days a week minimum, with Saturday or Sunday being one of the three days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and outings.
• Assist residents as needed when entering or exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper operation of the facility vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws, facility policies, and resident safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.
• Complete mileage logs, maintenance checklists, and trip documentation.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid PA driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience driving a passenger van or working in long-term care is a plus.
• Reliable, patient, and comfortable interacting with older adults.
• Ability to assist residents safely and kindly during transport.
