About The Role
The Director of Nursing oversees all clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. What You’ll Do
- Provide strategic leadership to nursing staff and clinical department heads
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Oversee clinical workflows, care planning, and quality measures
- Drive survey readiness and performance improvement initiatives
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and departmental budgets
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary partners
- Mentor and develop nurse leaders to support a strong clinical infrastructure
- Promote a safe, respectful, and positive work environment
- Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
- Prior DON or strong ADON experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
- Solid understanding of regulatory guidelines, QAPI, infection control, and care standards
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to guide teams through change while maintaining high morale
