- Providing Instruction: Collaborating with teachers to adapt curriculum and deliver supplemental instruction to individual students or small groups
- Behavior Intervention: Developing and implementing strategies to address challenging behaviors, using evidence-based techniques and methods
- Social and Emotional Growth: Fostering social skills and self-awareness through group activities, discussions, and role-playing
- Clerical Support: Managing records, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate data entry, ensuring seamless communication among staff and stakeholders
- Partnership: Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 18 years old
- Demonstrate relevant knowledge and skills
- Meet paraprofessional requirements as outlined in IDAPA 08.02.02
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings a plus
