Accel Hydraulics is hiring a full-time Automotive Equipment Service Technician to repair, service, inspect, and install automotive shop equipment throughout the Greater Dayton area.
Since opening in 2021, Accel Hydraulics has quickly become a trusted leader in automotive lift repair, lift inspections, automotive equipment sales, hydraulic equipment repair, air compressor service, and shop equipment installation. We're looking for a mechanically inclined individual who wants a long-term career with a company that continues to grow every year.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive lifts (2-post, 4-post, alignment, and specialty lifts)
- Repair hydraulic floor jacks and transmission jacks
- Service and repair air compressors and compressed air systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and annual lift safety inspections
- Install new automotive shop equipment
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Dayton region
- Complete work orders and communicate professionally with customers
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience as a mechanic, maintenance technician, industrial maintenance technician, field service technician, hydraulic technician, or automotive technician is preferred but not required
- Ability to safely lift heavy equipment and components
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
