Job Description:
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, overseeing and leading the regional processing room; processing currency related to route gaming, ATM, amusement, and all other cash-based transactions for Accel Entertainment; balancing vault inventory; maintaining standard operating procedures; resolving and reporting any and all variances or issues; and leading department projects, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.
Day-to-day oversight of a regional processing department
Daily balance and reporting of vault inventory and cash movement
Daily reporting of all variances found within processes
Independently resolve discrepancies and irregularities
Observe and reinforce outlined standard operating procedures
Implement and maintain control procedures and new and ongoing process improvements
Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
Assist with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes
Communicate and cooperate with other departments
Protect Accel’s values by keeping information confidential
Conduct additional review and analysis as needed or requested by senior management
Provisional projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 5 years of leadership/training and cash handling experience
At least 5 years in the banking or casino industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Minimum of 21 years of age
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
Analyze financial data and calculate figures and amounts
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 40 pounds
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Base Pay Range:
$50,000 - $65,000
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
