What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Services Director position at Accel At Longmont?
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to become our "Director of Social Services". We are a Skilled Nursing facility located on the edge of Longmont and we are dedicated to providing top level care and attention for our beloved residents.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; social services–related degree preferred.
- Prior social services experience preferred, including experience in long-term care settings.
- Must meet all pre-employment requirements, including documentation and background check.
- Must complete new hire orientation and participate in ongoing training and in-services.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with computers and related technology.
- Willingness to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Ability to participate professionally in government surveys and inspections.
- Ability to perform essential physical duties of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to manage the mental and emotional demands of working with geriatric, disabled, mentally ill, and dementia populations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to additional duties as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
