This is a full-time, on-site position for a Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical role based in Mattoon, IL. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality medical-surgical nursing care, collaborating with healthcare teams, monitoring patient progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additional tasks include supporting critical patient needs, implementing care plans, and recognizing changes in patient conditions to ensure timely interventions.
- Expertise in Nursing and Patient Care to provide compassionate and competent clinical services
- Knowledge of Medicine and Telemetry to monitor and evaluate patient health effectively
- Strong Critical Thinking skills to assess, diagnose, and make decisions under various circumstances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with healthcare teams and families
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred
