About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Professional with a strong background in public accounting and trust & estate taxation. The ideal candidate will have recent experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns while providing high-quality tax compliance and planning services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns.
• Prepare and review Trust & Estate tax returns.
• Handle Individual, S-Corporation, and Partnership tax returns.
• Research and apply Federal and Illinois tax laws.
• Provide tax planning and compliance support.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax-related matters.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax engagements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent experience in a Public Accounting firm (Required).
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing Trust & Estate tax returns.
• Experience with Individual, S-Corporation, and Partnership taxation.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and Illinois tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPA license or CPA candidate is preferred.
