Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise teams of skilled workers, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality concrete structures on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, scheduling, and technical review will drive project success while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties

• Lead and manage concrete crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the preparation of construction schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid, coordinating with project managers to align timelines and resources.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
• Supervise the mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete to meet project specifications and quality control standards.
• Enforce federal construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and management teams to ensure timely delivery of materials such as rebar, formwork, and other concrete components.
• Conduct regular site inspections using tools like an ohmmeter for quality assurance; review blueprints and schematics for accuracy; interpret technical drawings for proper execution.
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, daily logs, safety reports, and inspection records.
• Supervise the review of construction schedules, budgets, and estimates; assist in construction estimating processes for upcoming projects.
• Ensure adherence to construction site safety regulations while supervising heavy equipment operation and managing on-site logistics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial concrete construction with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction scheduling techniques including project scheduling coordination.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and industry best practices for quality control.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and use testing tools like ohmmeters effectively.
• Strong management skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication abilities.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes including budgeting and resource planning.
• Construction site experience with a focus on concrete work; understanding of pipeline projects is a plus.
