Direct Support Professional On-call or PRN

About the Role:
Join ACAS Inc as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Manassas , VA, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide support and assistance in daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and hygiene.
• Facilitate community integration and social activities.
• Document and report on client progress and needs.
• Encourage and promote independence among clients.
• Collaborate with team members and families to develop care plans.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to helping others.
• Experience in a direct support or caregiving role is a plus.
• Must pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to individual client needs.
