- This position needs an experienced, motivated, and innovative Buyer that knows how to strategically negotiation, while maintaining inventory of direct and indirect/MRO products at necessary levels.

What You'll Do:
- Oversees and maintain inventory levels and inventory turn needed for plan.
- Track, and maintain deflation, analyze spending, and utilize synergy commitments while meeting aggressive delivery timeframes.
- Research, analyze and forecast current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, with attention to specified target market and demographics.
- Develop and maintain relationship with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Issue Purchase Orders and expedites deliveries as necessary.
- Assess financial risks of purchases.
- Attend trade shows, product exhibitions, and conferences to maintain current understanding of new products and trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of market dynamics and commodity outlook.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years of experience in a Buyer role for direct and indirect spending in manufacturing environment.
- 3 years of ERP/MRP experience.
- 3 years of experience with contract management and supplier negotiations.
- 3 years of experience solving complex problems.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of Purchasing Department Procedures, Policies & Controls.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Demonstrated ability in communicating business goals / programs / processes for an area or business segment.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to details.
