Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified PCB Designer to work hybrid (partially onsite and partially remote) with our customer in McLeansville, NC. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:
- As a PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you'll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.
- Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation).
- Design and develop complex printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to clarify and refine design documentation.
- Contribute to fabrication and prototyping efforts, ensuring compliance with IPC and manufacturing standards.

- Knowledge of PCB layout tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx).
- 3D modeling in Solidworks, NX, or CREO.
- Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
- Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
- In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.
- Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.

- Requires an Active Secret Clearance.
