Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Therapist role based in Lafayette, LA. The Therapist will provide essential mental health care services, including conducting assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions. Responsibilities also include monitoring client progress, maintaining detailed documentation, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing crisis intervention when necessary to support clients in their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Expertise in conducting various forms of therapy, including individual, group, and family counseling
- Knowledge of evidence-based approaches in treating mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD
- Strong skills in treatment planning, progress monitoring, and maintaining clinical documentation
- Capacity to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams and with families
- Ability to provide crisis management and intervention services
- Relevant academic qualifications, such as a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensure in the state of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) is required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic approach to care
