Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Steel Sales Associate to join our team. This position combines customer service, sales, inventory handling, and light warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with steel and metal product sales
- Provide excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Process orders and maintain accurate records using Quickbooks
- Answer phones and communicate effectively with customers and contractors
- Cut steel and other materials to customer specifications
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
Skills/Qualifications:
- Construction, steel, building materials, or related industry experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn sales software
- Comfortable working directly with the public
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and handling steel products
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
