What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Team Member position at Acadiana Lanes?
Bowling Front Desk
We are searching for an engaging, friendly customer service expert for our team. Our front desk is our guests' first experience with Acadiana Lanes' top notch customer service professionals.
Work duties include bowling sales, answering phones, issuing shoes, and competently relaying pricing, package, league and tournament information to our open play and league guests. Clear communication is also needed with our porters and bowling mechanics. As the bowler's area is cleaned, porters call in over 2-way radios the cleaned lanes to the Bowling Front Desk staff and desk staff in turn communicate back when the lane is returned to use. As pin setters malfunction, service calls are made to the back end bowling mechanic.
Expect to work weeknights and weekends with shifts of up to 10 hours on weekends. Working Fridays and Saturdays until 2 am and Sundays until 11 pm is a requirement of the job. Know that we are open all holidays and working holidays is a requirement of the job. Expect to work up to 20-30 hours per week. Additional hours are available through cross-training at managers discretion.
