Duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including site preparation and cleanup
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment safely
- Support skilled workers by providing tools, materials, and assistance as needed throughout the project
- Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site stability
- Operate power tools and equipment safely under supervision, ensuring proper maintenance and repair when necessary
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures
Requirements
- Prior dirt work or construction experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with equipment repair is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and workplace safety practices
- Strong commitment to safety regulations such as respiratory protection use and erosion control measures
