Acadiana Industrial Service is seeking experienced Pipe Welders and Fitters to join our team in New Iberia. The ideal candidate will specialize in pipe welding and fitting, working under the supervision of a foreman in a safety-focused environment. This role offers opportunities for overtime and requires no travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding using TIG and Flux Core Arc Welding techniques
- Fit pipes according to specifications and blueprints
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
- Fabricate metal components as required
- Report progress and issues to the foreman
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pipe welding and fitting
- Certified Welder, such as AWS Certification
- Proficient in TIG Welding and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW)
- Skilled in blueprint reading and pipe fitting techniques
- Experience with metal fabrication
- Strong commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
