Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Acadian Residential Contractors – Gonzales, LA (Pelican Point)
Acadian Residential Contractors is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Owner and assist with the daily administrative operations of our residential construction company.
Schedule:
- Part-time: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Additional hours available as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Administrative support for the Owner
- Maintaining organized company files and records
- Coordinating with engineers and parish offices regarding building timelines
- Assisting with year-end financials and providing information to the CPA for tax preparation
- Maintaining corporate filings with the Secretary of State
- Monitoring insurance policy renewals, CDs, and money market accounts
- Assisting with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience required
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality
- Construction or real estate industry experience is a plus
