What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech position at Acadian Medical Center?
1. Sweeping, Mopping, Scrubbing, Stripping, and Buffer Floor Surfaces efficiently, timely, and properly.
2. Utilizes the appropriate chemicals, supplies and cleaning techniques according to procedure and manufacturer’s recommendations.
3. Operates and maintains all equipment correctly and safely. Keeps equipment clean.
4. Observes safety precautions all times. Uses safety signs, WET FLOOR and ropes off sections of floor for cleaning where appropriate.
5. Replenishes supplies; notifies the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
6. Assists visitors with directions whenever requested.
7. Cleans all entries of the facility and grounds.
8. Trash & Linen Run as assigned
9. Put supplies in closet and keep supply closet clean
10. Clean and store equipment on a daily basis
11. Strip and wax empty rooms and fills out daily record.
12. Responsible for outside trash pickup in trashcans, parking lot, lawns.
13. Fills in other areas of EVS as requested by EVS Supervisor.
14. Any other duties assigned as needed to help drive our Mission and abide by our organizations values.
