Duties
- Operate woodworking machinery such as custom molding machines, saws, sanders, and other power tools for precise fabrication of millwork components
- Use hand tools and power tools for various specifications
- Perform heavy lifting of raw materials and finished products while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury
- Using tape measures and calipers to ensure accuracy in production
- Maintain an organized workspace by cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas regularly to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow safety standards in production environments by wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhering to safety procedures
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, material handling with forklifts, and loading/unloading shipments
Experience
- Prior experience operating production mill machinery and or saw mill machinery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with hand tools for woodworking, power tools safety, and machine operation is highly desirable
- Basic math skills for measuring and interpreting customer orders are essential
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments will be advantageous
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy lifting, machine operation, and warehouse procedures is important
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; certification can be provided on-site if needed
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with attention to detail ensures quality craftsmanship in every project
- Hours of Operation Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
