Data Stage Developer
Introduction:
We are seeking a talented Data Stage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ETL/Data Integration skills using IBM DataStage Designer, Director, and Admin. They should also possess expert SQL and Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) along with proficiency in UNIX/Shell scripting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements
- Optimize and tune ETL jobs for performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes
- Create and maintain documentation for ETL processes and data warehouse
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Experience with IBM DataStage Designer, Director, and Admin
- Expertise in SQL and Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2)
- Proficiency in UNIX and Shell scripting
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Aggregator transformation in DataStage
- Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere Information Server
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
