Acadia Eye Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Service Representative to join our team.
This is a patient-facing position and an important part of the day-to-day operation of our practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates well, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a busy office environment.
The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in, maintaining accurate patient and insurance information, completing appointment reminder calls, scanning documents, and assisting with other front-office needs as they arise.
Strong communication with both patients and other members of the team is essential to this position.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, organized, comfortable with computers, and able to multitask in a busy environment. The right person will communicate clearly, follow through on tasks and messages, and work well as part of a team.
Previous medical office experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
