Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical systems including HVAC, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Conduct appliance repair and installation, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical devices.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in compliance with safety standards.
- Operate company vehicles for on-site maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) activities to support facility needs efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, improve processes, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with expertise in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across various mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC & appliance technology is essential.
- Construction experience or background in building maintenance is advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating company vehicles safely within operational guidelines.
- Excellent customer service skills with an ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
