Finance Executive – High-Growth Facility Maintenance Company (Northern NJ)
We’re a successful, privately held facility maintenance services provider with a strong foundation and a bold vision: 5x growth over the next 5 years. We deliver mission-critical fire protection, life safety, and other facility services to national clients across the United States and Canada.
While our EBITDA already exceeds industry averages, we know we can do better. To fuel our next phase of hyper-growth, we’re seeking a results-driven Finance Executive to join our leadership team—in office, full-time, in Bergen County, NJ.
Your Mission:
- Identify and drive operational and financial efficiencies across our entire system
- Optimize our bidding process with vendor contractors to improve margins
- Lead procurement strategy to ensure our teams “buy smarter” without sacrificing service quality
- Oversee the General Ledger and financial reporting, ensuring our books accurately reflect and recapture profitability
- Build the financial infrastructure needed to raise capital for aggressive expansion
- Manage and develop a team of 15 finance and accounting professionals
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience scaling finance operations in a small to mid-sized business
- Direct involvement in a high-growth journey—ideally through an IPO, acquisition, or transformation into a national platform
- Strong leadership background with experience managing teams of 15 or more
- Deep expertise in P&L management, cost optimization, and financial controls
- Hands-on experience with vendor contracting, procurement, and bid analysis
- Ability to work onsite daily in Bergen County, NJ (Northern NJ residents or those within commuting distance only)
