What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Dispatcher position at Academy Express?
As a Field Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating our drivers and customers along our routes at the Rutgers University Campus in Newark, NJ.
This is a full time position paid at $25.00 per hour.
You will partner closely with the Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, and Maintenance teams, to support the overall safety and efficiency of service while providing exceptional customer service.

Core Role:
- Coordinate drivers for daily operations
- Ensure safety procedures are followed in the field
- Be present and visible in the loading areas and provide assistance as required
- Communicate information clearly and concisely via direct connect radio or phone
- Accurately update logs and complete required documentation
- Keep the field supervisor, dispatch and operations teams updated on operations
